Social Media Specialist - PT
Our interior design firm is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our team for 20 hours per week. We seek a candidate who can take our existing presence and elevate it substantially. This position will be primarily offsite/remote with weekly strategy/status meetings in our East Bay studio. There will be an initial 1-2 week in-studio training and information download. The ideal candidate is someone who can combine media expertise, product knowledge, and analytics to produce posts and campaigns that deliver awareness and leads. This candidate is smart, organized, creative, efficient and self-motivated. In this Social Media Specialist role you’ll be responsible for:
Social strategy
Brand consistency across all platforms
Sourcing and posting content (currently use Planoly)
Manage engagement with customer, vendor and prospect base – currently across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
To qualify for this Social Media Specialist role you will need:
1-2+ years of professional experience as a social media specialist (or equivalent)
Expertise in all the major social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and have knowledge of other networks (Snapchat, etc)
Knowledge to create social media ads and boost posts, as well as know how to use social monitoring tools
Excellent written and verbal communication
Knowledge of Mailchimp
Photoshop a plus
$20-25/hour DOE
