Josiah Fisher - Senior Designer

Josiah is one of the latest additions to the KHI team, bringing a breadth of skillful design experience to the studio.  As the firm’s Senior Designer, Josiah is responsible for assisting the Principal, Kimberley, with all project development and execution, artful interior selections, innovative concepts, and expeditious progression for each client’s individual needs. 

Josiah’s design inspiration stems from a multifaceted approach. He admires antiquity and hones-in on vintage architectural fragments with a streamlined focus on modernization.  Some of his most beautiful designs originate from life’s most simple concepts: natural elements, geometry, organic patterns, and clean lines. Most importantly, Josiah’s focus puts the client’s aesthetic at the forefront. He challenges both his clients as well as himself to explore the evolution of what they can create together.   

With nearly 17 years of industry experience, Josiah has a robust background in commercial design, having worked with notable clients such as Pacific Western Bank, Kennedy Wilson, CBRE and Hudson Pacific Properties. Josiah also has extensive experience designing private residential properties in Beverly Hills, Scottsdale, Park City, Denver, and Dallas.  Before moving to the SF Bay Area with his partner in 2024 and shortly thereafter joining KHI, Josiah was the Principal Designer for his own commercial design studio in Los Angeles. 

Josiah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Dallas Art Institute. A San Diego native, Josiah has lived + worked in multiple cities across the continental United States and even taught Kindergarten in Seoul, South Korea. Josiah’s sweet and calming persona, coupled with a razor-sharp focus on the execution of his design projects is widely adored by his clients. You will enjoy hearing these common words from him, “If you love it…I’ll figure out how to make it work.” 

Brittany Hobbs - Junior Designer

Born and raised in the East Bay, Brittany discovered her passion for design early on, inspired by her father, a local builder. Although she initially pursued a degree in Kinesiology at California State University, East Bay, she soon realized that her true calling lay in interior design. Fueled by her love for creativity and the art of transforming spaces, Brittany returned to school to study Interior Design.

With eight years of professional experience, Brittany specializes in turning clients' dream homes into reality. She is dedicated to collaborating closely with her clients to craft personalized, functional spaces that beautifully reflect their unique styles and needs.

Outside of her design career, Brittany enjoys the great outdoors, walking with her dog, hiking, and traveling. She also has a passion for dance and loves exploring new culinary adventures.

Ciera Van Quick - Design Assistant

Ciera is a dedicated interior designer with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University. Originally from Biggs, California, she has always been drawn to the artistry and functionality of design, discovering her love for the field as a little girl. 

Before joining the team at KHI, Ciera honed her skills through internships, where she gained hands-on experience while immersing herself in the local design community. She continues to stay active in the industry by attending design events and networking with fellow designers, constantly striving to expand her knowledge and inspire others. 

Ciera’s design philosophy focuses on creating custom spaces that are not only beautiful but also a true reflection of individuality and lifestyle. She strives to blend functionality with style to ensure each space is both practical and inspiring.  

When she is not working on transforming spaces, Ciera enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it is at the park with her energetic Goldendoodle or playing a competitive game of pickleball. 

Amanda Graviano - Director of Design Operations

Amanda supports the team in day-to-day operations and client projects. Amanda is a Northern California native, and earned a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Prior to joining the KHI team, Amanda had a long career as a Marriage & Family Therapist, serving at-risk youth and their families. Her diverse professional experience provides KHI and its clientele with unparalleled support and high-level client service.

Amanda found her love for interior design while managing the renovation of her own home and is excited to embark on a career in the industry. In her spare time, Amanda can be found alongside her three young children, enjoying trips to the mountains, exploring the region's many wineries, reading, and styling and restyling her own home.

Cathy Opdycke - Director of Marketing and Business Development

Cathy supports the KHI team as a marketing strategist and project manager to complement the design team's creativity. She understands that the interior design process is as much about organization as it is about discovering and delivering on a client’s unique aesthetic.

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Cathy is excited about the idea of applying her extensive project management, customer service, team building, and marketing experience to an entirely different industry.

When she’s not busy strategizing on how best to build the brand, you will find Cathy with her family and friends boating on the beautiful lakes of California or skiing the snow-covered mountains. And if she gets a moment to herself, she likes to enjoy a well- crafted cocktail and simply relax.

Mary Ann Corbett - Director of Operations

Mary Ann grew up in Northern California and has a degree in Psychology. Following college, she earned her real estate license while working in operations for a large real estate firm in Sacramento. She then went on to sell real estate and this led to a Marketing and Construction Management position for a real estate developer. Life would eventually take Mary Ann to San Francisco, where she began a 10 year career in Project Management and then Sales/Marketing for a large Corporate Event Planning firm.  

After taking several years off to raise her two children, she joins the KHI team with 16+ years of Operations, Project Management and Marketing experience where she implements her attention to detail and strong organizational skills in creating operation systems and best practices, ensuring the efficient procurement and expediting of design products for our clients and keeping our team organized and on track. She works side by side with our Principal, designers, vendors, and clients to ensure that all projects are completed flawlessly. Mary Ann enjoys hiking, pickle ball, golf, reading and travel.
